Nike unveiled the Air Jordan 1 in 1984, a basketball sneaker designed by Peter Moore for a young Michael Jordan. Tinker Hatfield soon took over the footwear franchise, designing a number of iconic silhouettes for the rising star, including the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 4, Air Jordan 5, Air Jordan 7, Air Jordan 8, Air Jordan 11, and Air Jordan 12. The line continues to influence style and culture around the world across footwear, apparel and accessories.
